Reels from clips with a headline — how to make videos in a steady flow without filming every day

Upload a few short videos — Craft cuts the pieces itself, puts a headline on them, writes a caption that leads into your funnel and posts Reels on a schedule.

Updated: October 25, 2026

The simplest Reels format: 5–10 seconds of calm video, a big headline on top, and the point itself in the caption under the video, with a call to message a code word. You don't need to film these every day — a few clips are enough. In Craft this format runs on autopilot: the factory cuts the video, writes headlines and captions and posts the videos as trial or regular Reels.

How it works#

  1. You upload clips — any short videos: filmed by you, nature, your work process, generations made on the platform.
  2. Each time, the factory cuts a new piece of a new length from a clip, so the videos don't repeat even when they come from a single video.
  3. AI writes the on-screen headline and the caption — for your niche, based on what took off for competitors, or from your own headlines.
  4. The factory assembles the video: the frame, the headline in the style you chose, the sound — and puts it on the schedule.
  5. Everything that went out appears in the log together with its headline.

What you need#

  • A connected Instagram account to post to.
  • One or more clips. Calm shots without text of their own work best: nature, a city, hands at work, a workspace.
  • Credits: 1 credit per published video; the headline and caption are included in the price.

Step 1. Choose the mode#

"Content Factory" → the "Trial Reels" tab → "Set up the factory" → in the "Mode" section choose "Clips + headline".

Step 2. Add clips#

  • "Upload video" — an mp4 or mov from your device.
  • "From video library" — videos you have already uploaded to Craft.
  • "From generations" — videos created in "Image & video generation".

If you don't select anything, the factory takes all the clips in turn. If you select several, it uses only those.

Step 3. Frame and headline#

  • Which piece to take: "Random piece" (length from–to, 5–9 seconds by default) or "Always the same piece" — the same segment every time, only the headline and sound change.
  • Frame format: "Auto" (vertical video fills the screen, horizontal video sits in the center with bars), "Full screen" or "Centered with bars". The bar color is black or white.
  • Headline style: Classic, Yellow, Black box, White box, Outline, Minimal. Size S, M or L, in capital letters or as written.
  • Headline position: above the video, top, center or bottom.

On the right you immediately see what the video will look like. Type your own sample headline to check a long text.

✅ The headline always sits inside the Reels safe zone: Instagram's buttons and caption don't cover it. If there is little room above a horizontal video, the video moves lower and the text gets smaller.

Step 4. Where headlines come from#

  • AI for your niche — comes up with headlines based on your profile. In the "What to write about" field you can set a topic.
  • AI from competitors — takes the videos that took off on the accounts you follow in "Inspiration" and writes a new headline based on their mechanics.
  • My headlines — one headline per line, used in rotation.

You can turn on several sources — they will alternate. AI always writes the caption and doesn't repeat recent headlines.

Step 5. Caption and funnel#

In the "Caption" section, in the "Append at the end" field, click the code word of one of your funnels — Craft inserts a line such as «Comment “GUIDE” — I'll send the details to your DMs». This way every video brings people into your funnel.

Step 6. Sound, schedule and publishing#

You can keep the clip's sound or remove it, and take a background sound from the Craft library (nature, city, noise — no music) or upload your own. After that everything works as in the mini-factory: accounts, how many videos a day and at what hours, trial or regular Reels. Click "Start the factory" — or "Post one now" to look at a video first.

With Claude or ChatGPT#

If Craft is connected to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, you can set up the factory in plain words: "make Reels from my clips with a yellow headline above the video, 3 a day to @second_account, with the word GUIDE at the end". The AI shows the setup, tells you the price and starts the factory only after your "yes".

Not available yet#

  • The Craft library doesn't yet have nasheeds or stock nature videos. You can upload your own sounds in the "Sounds" tab, and generate nature footage in "Image & video generation".
  • There is no animated headline appearance — the text stays on screen for the whole video.

Frequently asked questions#

How many clips do I need?#

One is enough: a new piece is cut from it each time. But 5–10 different clips make a more varied feed.

Won't Instagram count such videos as repeats?#

Each video has its own piece of footage, its own headline, its own caption and its own uniqueness treatment. On top of that come the warm-up of new accounts and time spread.

Can I add my own music?#

You can upload your own sound in the "Sounds" tab — the rights to it are yours. There is no music in the Craft library.

Why was a video skipped?#

The reason is in the log: the clip was deleted, the video can't be read or there weren't enough credits.

How much does it cost?#

1 credit per published video. If it doesn't go out, the credit is returned.
