Stats on the funnel map — people per step and button taps

What the numbers on blocks and the percentages on buttons mean in the funnel builder, and why some buttons show a dash.

Updated: September 13, 2026

What the map shows#

When you open a funnel in the builder, you can see how people move through it. The numbers refresh once a minute.

  • The person icon and number in the block's corner show how many different people reached this step. Every block has it, even at 0: "nobody got here" is an answer too.
  • The percentage on a button shows what share of the people who reached the block tapped that button. If nobody tapped, it shows 0%.

Hover over a percentage to see how many people tapped, out of how many, and since which date we count.

Since when taps are counted#

Button taps are recorded from September 13, 2026. The percentage uses the same period: people who tapped since that date divided by people who reached the block since that date. So on older funnels the percentages start from zero for the first days. That's not a bug: there's simply no data before that date.

💡 Delays, conditions and actions also show how many people passed through them, again since September 13. For messages, the number of people covers all time.

Why a button shows a dash instead of a percentage#

A dash "—" means we can't see taps on this button, and 0% would be misleading.

  • Telegram, a link button set to "Direct". The link opens right in Telegram, bypassing Craft, so we never hear about the tap. To see taps, set the button to "With stats". The link will then open in the built-in browser first.
  • Instagram, a link button. Instagram doesn't report taps on link buttons, so they can't be counted.

Buttons that lead to the next funnel step are always counted, in both Telegram and Instagram.

How to reset the stats#

Say you've rewritten a funnel and want to count it again from a clean slate.

  1. On the funnel card, open its stats.
  2. At the bottom of the window, click "Reset stats" and confirm.

From that moment on, the numbers on the funnel card, on the map in the builder and in the stats window start counting again. The bottom of the window shows since when they're counted.

💡 Resetting deletes nothing. To bring back the all-time stats, click "Restore all" in the same place.

⚠️ The counters of individual funnel links ("by link" in the stats window) aren't reset — they always cover all time.

If the numbers look odd#
