Threads replies: answer people from Craft

How to see every reply under your Threads posts in Conversations, generate an answer in your style or dictate it, send it, hide replies and get a Telegram digest.

Updated: October 2, 2026

Threads replies#

Automations → Conversations → the Threads tab collects people's replies under your Threads posts from the last 30 days. You can answer right there: yourself, by voice, or with a draft Craft writes in your style.

What you need#

Threads connected in Accounts. When you connect, Threads asks for permission to read and answer replies. If it wasn't granted, the tab shows "Craft can't see replies": reconnect Threads and allow access.

How it looks#

On the left are your posts: how many replies, how many you haven't answered, and an orange number for new ones you haven't opened yet. The "Unanswered" filter keeps only posts where someone is waiting for you.

Open a post to see the whole thread on the right: the post, people's replies and your answers. Craft checks for new replies every 10 minutes on its own (hourly for posts older than two days); the arrow button checks right away.

Answering#

Under each reply:

  • Generate reply — Craft writes a draft in your style. It learns the style only from your own Threads posts and replies, so the more you've answered yourself, the closer it gets. Edit the draft, ask for "Another version", or erase it and write your own.
  • Dictate — say in your own words what you want to answer, and Craft turns it into a reply in your style. It doesn't change the meaning or add anything.
  • Write it myself — an empty field, no AI.
  • Send — the answer is published in Threads under your name, under the person's reply. Up to 500 characters, which is the Threads limit. You can delete a published answer in Threads itself.
  • Hide — hides the person's reply in Threads (same as Hide in the app). "Unhide" shows it again.

If you answered someone in the Threads app, Craft notices it on the next check and marks the reply as answered.

A draft never publishes anything: only what you send goes to Threads.

Pricing#

Generating and dictating count the same:

  • Free plan — 5 generations a day;
  • paid plans — 100 generations a day;
  • after that — 1 credit per generation. Craft asks before spending a credit.

Days are counted in Moscow time. If a generation fails, it doesn't count and the credit is returned. Sending, hiding and writing yourself are free.

Telegram digest#

The bell icon in the Threads tab sets how often the digest comes: off, every 3, 6 (default) or 24 hours. It shows how many new replies arrived and under which posts, a few of the most substantial ones, and an "Open in Craft" button. No new replies, no digest. No digests between 23:00 and 9:00 Moscow time.

The digest comes from the Craft notifications bot — the same one that tells you about new messages in Conversations. It needs your Telegram linked to your Craft account.

Through Claude or ChatGPT#

With the MCP connector, your AI assistant can do the same: show new replies, write a draft or turn your words into a reply (same limits), hide a reply and set up the digest. It sends an answer only after showing you the text and getting your "yes". If the connection is set to "drafts only", it won't send at all.

Troubleshooting#

  • The tab is empty but there are replies. Press the check button. Craft picks up new replies under posts from the last 7 days — replies under older posts won't show up here.
  • "Craft can't see replies". Reconnect Threads in Accounts and allow access.
  • The answer wasn't sent. The reason is shown under the reply. Most often Threads refuses answers longer than 500 characters or when the account is restricted in Threads.
  • No digest. Make sure it's on, Telegram is linked to your Craft account, and it's not night in Moscow.
