What happens if your plan payment fails
How Craft warns you about a failed payment, what gets switched off and how to get it all back.
If your plan renewal can't be charged — not enough money on the card, the bank declined the payment or the card has expired — Craft does not switch your funnels off the same second. Your plan keeps working as usual, and we warn you in three places at once:
- by email to your account address;
- with a banner at the top of the app and in the notifications bell;
- in Telegram, if your account is linked to Telegram.
When there's one day left before the switch-off, you'll get one more reminder.
How to prevent the switch-off#
Open Pricing and pay for your plan. As soon as the payment goes through, everything keeps running on its own: you don't need to turn anything back on, and the banner disappears.
If you're sure there's money on the card, check whether your bank blocks online payments or subscriptions, or pay with another card.
What gets switched off#
If the payment never goes through, your account moves to the free plan:
- your account, data, funnels and subscribers stay — nothing is deleted;
- the free plan runs one connected account — a bot or an Instagram account. The one that keeps working is the account where funnels started most often over the last month. Funnels on the other accounts stop replying to people;
- the free plan limits apply.
You can choose which account keeps working yourself on the accounts page.
Paid for your plan after the switch-off? Paused accounts turn back on automatically.
Your gift plan or promo code has ended#
It works the same way: we'll let you know that your gift plan has ended and your funnels will be switched off soon. To prevent that, just get a plan.
You cancelled the subscription or got a refund#
- You cancelled the subscription — your plan works until the end of the paid period. On that day the account moves to the free plan with no extra time.
- You got a refund for the plan — the account moves to the free plan right away.
In both cases you'll get a message saying which accounts keep working and which are paused.
The email didn't arrive#
Check your Spam folder and mark the email from Craft as "Not spam" — future emails will then land in your inbox.
