Signing in and linking Telegram — confirm with a button
Why the Craft bot asks “is this you?” and what to do if someone else sent you a bot link.
When you sign in to Craft with Telegram or link Telegram in settings, the website opens our bot. The bot doesn’t let you in right away: it sends a message with a question and two buttons.
How to sign in#
- On the website, click “Continue with Telegram” (or “Link Telegram” in settings).
- In the bot, tap Start.
- Check the bot’s message: - which Craft account — when linking, it’s the account that started the linking; - which browser sent the request and when.
- If everything matches, tap “It’s me, sign in” (or “It’s me, link it”). Go back to your browser — the site continues on its own.
The button works for 2 minutes. Missed it? Start signing in on the website again.
If it wasn’t you#
Tap “Not me”. The sign-in is cancelled and nobody gets access to your account.
This happens when someone sends you a link like t.me/CraftAiBrainBot?start=login_… and asks you to “just tap Start”. It’s a way to get into someone else’s account: never tap “It’s me” on a link another person sent you — only when you are signing in on the Craft website yourself right now.
FAQ#
I tapped Start but the website does nothing. Sign-in waits for the “It’s me” button in the bot’s message. Until you tap it, the sign-in window says “Open the bot and confirm”.
The website says sign-in was cancelled in Telegram. Someone tapped “Not me” in the bot. If that was a mistake, just start again.
I tap the button and the bot says the request has expired. More than 2 minutes have passed, or the sign-in was already confirmed. Start signing in on the website again.
