How to see Instagram statistics — where to find them in the app and in Craft

Where Instagram statistics live, how to check account, profile and Reels insights in the app, and how Craft puts them on one page next to your funnels.

Updated: October 17, 2026

In short: Instagram statistics (insights) exist only on a professional account — creator or business. In the app you open them from your profile through the "Professional dashboard", and for a single post or Reel through the insights button under it. In Craft the same numbers sit on the "Statistics" page together with funnels, broadcasts and payments.

Where are Instagram statistics?#

A personal account has no statistics. First switch your profile to a professional one in Instagram settings — account type "Creator" or "Business". Numbers start collecting from that moment; past days won't appear.

How to see Instagram statistics in the app#

  1. Open your profile.
  2. Tap "Professional dashboard" under your bio.
  3. Open insights: views, reach, interactions and followers for the chosen period.

💡 Instagram moves its buttons around from time to time. If you can't find the dashboard, it always lives on the profile of a professional account, not in the feed.

Instagram Reels statistics#

Open the Reel or post and tap the insights button under it (in some versions it's in the "…" menu). You'll see reach, views, likes, saves, shares and comments for that post only.

Instagram profile statistics in Craft#

Open "Statistics" in the Craft menu:

  • Home — key numbers for the period on one screen: Instagram views, new followers, people in funnels, money. Period: today, yesterday, 7 days, 30 days or this month.
  • Posts — reach, saves, shares, likes, comments and new follows for every post. Posts you published by hand from your phone are there too, marked "manual".
  • Growth — how many followers came across all networks together, with a daily chart.
  • Daily reach — how many of the people who saw you follow you and how many don't.
  • End-to-end — from reel to payment: who wrote the keyword, moved to Telegram, got the lead magnet and bought.

Craft collects posts and numbers on its own as soon as you connect the account on the "My accounts" page. No need to refresh.

⚠️ Instagram numbers in Craft will appear after Meta's approval. Craft's access to Instagram statistics is under review. Until then the Instagram tiles say the numbers will come later. You don't need to reconnect. Funnels, bot audience, broadcasts and payments are counted already.

🔴 An account marked "no statistics" was connected before Craft started asking Instagram for access to numbers. Reconnect it on the "My accounts" page — Instagram will ask for permission and the numbers will appear.

How Craft differs from the app#

  • Several accounts at once. Pick "All accounts" — posts go into one feed and numbers are added up. In the app each account is checked separately.
  • History doesn't vanish. Instagram gives daily statistics only for the last 30 days. Craft saves them every day itself.
  • Money next to reach. The app shows how many people watched a reel. Craft also shows how many of them bought.

Every tab in detail: Statistics page; the link with funnels: Instagram and funnel statistics.

What's not there yet#

  • Follower / non-follower split of reach for a single post — Instagram itself doesn't provide it. Check it in the app.
  • Statistics for Telegram channels and their posts, YouTube statistics.
  • Export to a spreadsheet.
  • Total reach for "All time" — Instagram counts it for 30 days at most.

FAQ#

Why can't I see my Instagram statistics?#

Most likely the account is personal. Statistics exist only on a professional account — creator or business.

How do I see Instagram account statistics for past months?#

The app shows about the last 30 days by day. Craft saves the numbers every day from the moment you connect, so history beyond 30 days stays with you.

Why does Craft show fewer views than the app?#

Make sure you compare the same thing. Reach is how many different people saw your content; views are how many times it was shown. The app's main screen shows views, so the number is bigger there.

Does Craft show posts I didn't publish through Craft?#

Yes. The list comes from Instagram itself; such posts are marked "manual".
