How to move your funnels from ChatPlace, BotHelp or ManyChat to Craft

Craft moves a BotHelp funnel by its link on its own; funnels from ChatPlace and ManyChat are rebuilt from a template, by describing them to the AI, or together with us. Step by step, with the pitfalls.

Short answer: Craft moves a BotHelp funnel by itself — from the funnel's public link, together with its images and videos. There is no automatic import from ChatPlace or ManyChat: those funnels are rebuilt in Craft from a template, by describing them to the AI, or together with us (message @KamilGazizov on Telegram).

Who this is for#

You run funnels in BotHelp, ChatPlace or ManyChat and want funnels, carousels and publishing in one service.
You are in Russia, where ManyChat has been closed to users since August 1, 2024.

Moving from BotHelp — by link#

Connect the bot or account the funnel will live on in Craft: a Telegram bot with its token from @BotFather, or Instagram in My accounts.
Copy the funnel's public link in BotHelp — it looks like https://bothelp.io/f/….
Ask the AI to move it. Through the MCP connector in your Claude or ChatGPT, write: "move this BotHelp funnel to my bot". The AI will ask which bot or Instagram account to attach it to.
Open the funnel in the builder. The images and videos are already stored in Craft, not on BotHelp's servers.
Set up the placeholders. BotHelp blocks that Craft doesn't have arrive as placeholders — the AI lists them. Replace them with Craft steps before you turn the funnel on.
Check the launch in the "Start" window: keyword, bot link. Details — what starts a funnel.
Turn the funnel on yourself. A moved funnel always arrives turned off — nothing is sent to subscribers until you switch it on.

🔴 The bot leaves the old service immediately. As soon as you connect the bot to Craft with its token, it stops answering in BotHelp (or Salebot) — the funnels there go silent. Connect the bot when you are ready to move, not "just to try".

Moving from ChatPlace and ManyChat — rebuild#

There is no ready-made import from ChatPlace or ManyChat. You build the funnel in Craft in one of three ways — all of them are described in How to build a funnel:

A ready template. "Lead magnet for a subscription" or "Lead magnet, no subscription" — the most common funnels. Answer the wizard's questions (what you give away, the link to the material, the channel for the subscription check, the keyword) and the funnel is built already filled in.
Describe it in words — the AI builds it. Retell or dictate how your old funnel works: messages, buttons, delays, follow-ups. The AI builds the structure, shows it to you and puts it on the canvas after you confirm.
Together with us. If you have many funnels, message us on Telegram and we'll move them together.

Then follow the same steps as for BotHelp: check "Start", set keywords and turn the funnel on.

💡 For an Instagram funnel started by a comment, set up an auto-reply to comments with the same keywords right away. Without a public reply under the post, people won't realise something arrived in their DMs. The "Connect new funnels of this account automatically" switch also connects a funnel moved from BotHelp.

Pitfalls when moving#

⚠️ A funnel is started only by /start, a link or a keyword. Craft has no "any message starts the funnel" option. If the bot in your old service answered everything, set keywords.

⚠️ In Instagram — only a keyword. Without one, an Instagram funnel never starts, neither from a comment nor from a DM.

⚠️ After a comment in Instagram — one message. The funnel continues only when the person replies or taps a button: Instagram doesn't let a second message in a row through.

💡 In VK, funnels work like in Telegram: instead of /start there is the "Start" button, and the link leads to vk.me/your_community. Details — funnels in VK.

Import from ChatPlace and ManyChat — only rebuilding or moving by hand with our help.
BotHelp blocks that Craft doesn't have — they arrive as placeholders.
Funnel keywords in TikTok — funnels answer in Instagram, Telegram and VK; TikTok and YouTube in Craft are for publishing.
A ready integration with GetCourse and amoCRM. The Premium plan has an open API and webhooks — you can pass data on through Make or n8n.
