Reels uniquifier — several versions of one video to test in trial Reels

How to turn one finished Reel into 5, 10, 15, 40 or 100 unique copies in Craft, download them or post them all as trial Reels in one click with one caption.

Updated: November 5, 2026

The uniquifier turns one finished video into several versions. They look the same, but each has a slightly different frame, color, sound and file. You can download the versions or post them straight away as trial Reels and see which one gets more reach with new people.

The uniquifier doesn't re-edit the video: subtitles, animations and the order of shots stay as in the original.

How to make copies#

  1. Open Reels Uniquifier in the left menu.
  2. Click Choose a video or drop the file. MP4 or MOV up to 300 MB. The upload starts right away.
  3. Choose how many copies you need: 5, 10, 15, 40 or 100.
  4. Optionally turn on boosters in the Boost uniqueness block — see below. Without them a copy changes invisibly and the voice is untouched.
  5. Click Uniquify.

One copy takes from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, copies are made one by one, alongside other people's videos: 5 copies take minutes, 40 about an hour, 100 a couple of hours. You can close the page: finished copies will appear under "Your videos".

⚠️ Copies are kept for two days. Then the files are deleted. Posts you have already scheduled are not affected: their video is kept until it goes out.

How to boost uniqueness#

Without boosters the versions differ invisibly to the eye, and the voice stays the same. If you want the versions to differ more, turn on boosters. Each has its own checkbox, and all are off by default.

  • Sound — a quiet background under the speech, or new sound instead of the original. Craft sounds contain no music: nature, city, noise. Each copy takes its own track and starts it at a different point. You can upload your own sound: MP3, M4A, WAV or OGG up to 20 MB. "Replace sound" removes the original audio entirely — it's for videos without speech.
  • Frame — the video gets slightly smaller, with a blurred copy of the same shot around the edges. Changes the picture the most.
  • Change the shot more — the shot zooms in by 5–8%, color, brightness and speed shift slightly (speed by 3%), so the voice also gets a bit faster or slower.
  • Voice — 1.5–2.5% higher or lower, same tempo.
  • Trim edges — each copy starts and ends 0.3–1 second differently. Don't use it if the first or last word matters.
  • Label — your short text, small, in a corner — for example, your handle. Each copy gets its own corner. Emoji aren't drawn in the label.
  • Mirror — the shot is flipped left to right; text in the shot will read backwards.

💡 Versions differ the most with sound and frame turned on together. Boosters don't change the price, and a copy takes almost as long as before.

How to post all copies as trial Reels#

When the copies are ready, a Post all copies block appears below them:

  1. Choose one or several Instagram accounts. Copies are split evenly between them: each account gets its own copies, and the same copy never goes to two accounts.
  2. Write a caption — one for all copies.
  3. Choose how to post: - As trial — only non-followers see them; you share the winning version with everyone yourself in the Instagram app; - Trial, winners to everyone — Instagram shows the copy that performs well to your followers on its own; - Regular — copies go to your profile as regular Reels.
  4. Choose the gap between copies: at once, 30 minutes, an hour or 3 hours. The gap applies within one account; different accounts post at the same time. Below the settings you see the schedule: how many copies go to each account and when the last one goes out.
  5. Click Post. All copies are queued in Publishing — there you see what went out, with links to the Reels.

⚠️ Trial Reels are not open to every account. Instagram gives them to professional accounts with roughly 200+ followers. If an account has fewer, Craft warns you and posts the copies as regular Reels. More in Trial Reels on Instagram.

💡 You can download any copy with the Download button under it — for example, to post it to TikTok or YouTube Shorts via Publishing.

Pricing#

Subscriptions include copies every month: Solo — 300, Pro — 1000, Agency — 5000. Over the limit and without a subscription — 5 credits per copy: for example, 40 copies cost 200 credits. You see the price before you click — it's shown next to the button. Not enough credits — the same place has Buy credits and Get a subscription buttons.

Copies that failed are returned: credits back to your balance, copies back to your monthly limit.

How long it takes (for a one-minute video): 5 copies — about 6 minutes, 10 — about 12 minutes, 15 — about 18 minutes, 40 — about 50 minutes, 100 — about 2 hours. A longer video takes proportionally longer. Everyone's copies share one queue, so it can take longer.

You can make up to 600 copies a day, with up to two videos in progress at once.

FAQ#

How is a copy different from the original?#

A slightly different frame at the edges, tint, sound and file parameters. The eye barely sees the difference, but the files are different. Each copy gets its own changes, so the copies differ from each other too.

Is it a re-edit in a different style?#

No. Subtitles, animations and the order of scenes stay as in the original. The uniquifier only changes the file itself.

Why didn't a copy get made?#

Most often the video is too long or the file is damaged. The reason is shown on the video's card. Try a shorter video or upload the file again — copies that were already made stay.

Can I make copies from Claude or ChatGPT?#

Yes. Through the Craft connector ask "make 5 unique copies of this Reel" and give a link: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or a direct file. The AI can schedule the finished copies right away.
