Idea bank — save other creators' topics by link from Telegram, chat and the website
Saw a post, Reel, video or article you'd like to do your own way? Send the link to the Craft bot. It lands in your idea bank with a cover, numbers and your note — voice notes work too.
The idea bank is where you keep other creators' topics you want to do your own way: a post, Reel, carousel, YouTube or TikTok video, Threads post or a regular article. Craft pulls in the cover, author, the start of the caption and the numbers for each idea, and you add your own note — how you see your version.
You'll find it under Competitors → Idea bank.
Save a link with the Telegram bot#
- Open the Craft bot in Telegram and send it a link.
- The bot replies with a card: cover, author, caption, views and likes. Below it are buttons: - 💡 Save to idea bank — one tap. - 🎙 Add a note — the bot asks you to type or record how you see this idea. Several messages in a row are fine, text and voice mixed: they're collected into one note. Then tap “✅ Save to idea bank”. - 🔍 Break it down — why the post worked: structure, hook, techniques. A short breakdown arrives in the bot, the full one opens in Craft. - 👁 Track author — the author goes to Competitors → Tracked, and Craft collects their posts for you.
- The fastest way: write a few words right next to the link, like “redo this for my niche”. The bot saves the idea with those words as your note — no buttons needed.
💡 If you tapped “Add a note” and got distracted, the bot saves the idea itself after 10 minutes, with whatever you managed to write.
⚠️ “Break it down” and “Track author” are only available for social posts. For a regular article or website you get “Save to idea bank” and “Add a note”.
If the bot asks whether you already have an account#
This happens if you signed in to Craft with email or Google and haven't linked Telegram yet. - “Yes, sign in” — open Craft Settings on the website and link Telegram. Right after that the bot sends the card for the link you sent. - “No, create one” — the bot creates a new Craft account for your Telegram and processes the link right away.
🔴 If you already have an email account, choose “Yes, sign in”. “No, create one” creates a second, empty account, and your ideas won't be where you look for them.
Save a link on the website#
On the Idea bank tab, paste the link into the field at the top, optionally tap “+ Add a note”, and tap “Save”.
Save a link in the Craft chat#
Send the link in the chat. If you don't add anything, the AI asks what to do with it: save it to your idea bank, break it down, or track the author. Answer however you like, for example “save it, I want to do the same for my niche”. Your words about how you see your version become the note.
If you say what to do right with the link (“break down why it worked”), the AI just does it without asking.
Working with the bank#
- Statuses: New → In progress → Done. Change them on the card to see what you've already taken on.
- Search looks through the caption, your note and the author. Filters — by status and by platform.
- Notes can be edited right on the card: tap the note.
- Delete — the cross on the card; Craft asks to confirm.
The MCP connector (Claude & ChatGPT) sees your idea bank too: ask “show my new ideas”, “find what I saved about cashback”, “mark this idea as done”.

⚠️ Every link you send counts toward the limit, even if you don't save it in the end: Craft has already loaded its card.
“Break it down” uses your monthly post breakdown limit, and “Track author” uses your tracked accounts limit — same as on the Competitors page.
Not available yet#
- A “Make a carousel from this idea” button. For now, ask for a carousel in the chat as a regular message.
- Transcripts for Threads posts: Threads doesn't provide them, so “Break it down” relies on the post text.
- Private accounts and deleted posts are saved as a link without a cover or numbers.
