Credits: what they're spent on and what they cost
One set of credits for chat, images and AI agent replies. A chat message costs 6 credits, an image from 1, an agent reply 1 or 3. Solo includes 500 credits a month, then buy packs.
Craft has one internal currency — credits. They pay for chat, image generation and AI agent replies in Instagram Direct, so there's one balance to watch instead of separate limits.

A message costs the same whatever you ask: topic ideas, a full carousel or a slide fix. A typical carousel is 5–7 messages, about 30–40 credits. Editing slide text by tapping it is free.
The AI agent uses credits for every reply it sends to someone in Direct. If a reply doesn't go out (an error, or the conversation window closed), the credits come back. More in "AI agent in Instagram Direct".
How many credits your plan includes#
Solo includes 500 credits a month — about 80 chat messages, i.e. 12–16 carousels, or 500 Standard images. Plan credits refresh at the start of each month.
If you run out, buy more in Settings. The bigger the pack, the cheaper each credit:

Purchased credits don't expire at the end of the month.

Free trial#
During the trial, accounts, funnels, auto-replies and publishing all work. The trial includes 100 credits for images and AI agent replies. Craft chat and carousels unlock after the first payment — every message costs us money, so we can't give them away. You can connect your own Claude or ChatGPT during the trial.
⚠️ If you subscribed before October 6, 2026, your terms stay the same: chat message limits and your subscription price don't change. AI agent replies use credits for everyone, whenever you subscribed.
